In the slavery time, when the European bought the slave there are many step they need to pass before the boat. This symbol represent a tree called “L’arbre de l’oubli” it mean forgotten tree. Slave men must turn nine time around and women seven. And they forgot everything about they cultural identity and they can not remember they origin.
